aye carumbas

aye carumbas - life can be so complicated. Is so complicated. But what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger right? I need a little of the grace in the picture above. Is 'bella' not lovely? She sits beside the house, praying over a garden stone I made (with gw's on one outing) - the stone is a broken heart that is healing - is still whole even though it is cracked. Like most of our hearts.

Bella came from B (and D) who visited one summer when I was at 268 Borebank. B saw Bella in a garden store and bought one for me and one for her! B has a great and staunch faith which she passes around to those in need. She is much like an angel in that way. She has great compassion and love and shares it freely. Kudos to you B for cultivating your 'garden' so and being ever-willing to share it's beauty with those around you. I have been one of the blessed ;).

Boy this world is a marvelous place to learn isn't it? The people around us are the greatest teachers - even if you don't want the lesson (ha).

So, I'll go outside and spend some time in nature today - soaking in the bella-ness of all things surrounding me. And rake the lawn at the same time. And do laundry. and I need to study for my first sign language test on Saturday (ASL 101 -beginner). Keep the faith peeps, keep the faith. Whatever it may be that you belive in - keep the faith.

(photo taken mid-winter - notice the 'angel wings' or 'lungs' or just plain 'stuck snow' on Bella's chest.....)
