I saw her in the Globe and Mail and have been following her since. Imagine trying to make everything you wear - including shoes which seem to be the 'corker'. Ingenious places her thinking takes her and us - trying to come up with pieces that work! Check it out. You won't look at clothing in the same way afterward.
Huzzy is home. He's taken today and tomorrow off. I'm su-dio-ing and job hunting via computer. Possible Receptionist position still possible - haven't heard back since yesterday. Working in gumboots seems to be calling me so will try Schreimers and other mud-loving places. Maybe that will feed my inner 'farmgirl'.
Picked up 7 books at the downtown library on Tuesday night while waiting for D to finish dancing. One of note is an illustrated 'pippy longstocking'by a kidsbook author I love (and illustrator) - also a couple books by the writer of Chocolat. I will post how those are and the author's full names (ha).
I like to read in the evenings before bed. Or in front of the tv while huzzy watches sports. In bed I don't seem to last as long. The ol' peepers want to keep shutting on me. There is nothing like a warm bed and a good book. I love bed. I love books. I can't imgaine snuggling in bed with an electronic-book-thingy. Long live real books!
Another cold one out there today. Hibernation mode in full throttle. Soup is calling me - it will be split pea. Ria you still picking up Quinoa? Peaceout dear cupcakes! (The photo attached to this blog - I will post where it comes from as well - I suck for remembering these things!)
