So with summer coming (well, spring first..) and working in a Greenhouse - a hat is needed for this honkin' noggin. I think the back of my head is big or around is big or something but whatever is going on (hair too thick.....)it is tough to find me a hat that fits.
Last Sunday I went to Zellers and tried on most every hat there. The Gilligan kind, the 'bring me a dacquiri' kind, the cap kind.....none fit. Then I found a straw one - plain and just right...and it did fit on my head but I decided I will walk around Zellers to see if it will stay on. Well, sure enough, in the pj section, the hat starts to rise off the top of my head. I tried to push it down and make it 'stay'.....nope, keeps rising up. So back to the conga line of hats it went. Then , to Wal-Mart.
I spied a straw woven hat with a brim - Nine lovely dollars worth - put that on my head and did a walk about - success! Big enough for my melon! So it will come with me to work in the coming weeks and we'll test drive it there. I've worn sunglasses in the greenhouse and am going to put on sunscreen (may sweat it all off ...) so I'll be ready with my hat.
So with that story I shall 'scat'. ha. Zellers does have a great selection of hats if you are looking and don't have a big head ;)
ciao ciao over and out!(Bunny from Lori Joy Smith's blog - she made it for her daughter for Easter! is it not the best!)
