turkey bathing

ha - have to bathe the turkey to thaw out the sucker. A 12 pounder. We're having Huzzies folks to dinner - 5 of us in total. It will be 'rub-a-dub-dub' for our turkey tomorrow. Just enough to get it thawing quicker. I have visions of frozen turkey that has to cook for hours and hours.....and ends up like the dried out turkey on National Lampoon's Christmas.

Huzzy and I made a list of what needs to get done in the next several days. How do people have 30 or 20 even over for dinner (potluck?). We have a rather smallish house and I dream of a house that we can put a nice 8 person or 6 person wood table in and you can come and go as you please and no one gets stuck at the back near the wall.

We went and delivered hampers today. There were 5 in total. All in our area. I had my two nephews with us. Max wore his elfin hat. He's 9. Aiden is 12. The ride out to get the hampers and then back was a bit long and the boys sat in our half-cab in the truck. Felt good to help out in some small way.

Two choco-balls to go! I won't post till after all the choco balls are gone - wishing you all the best and visions of turkey's bobbing in tubs. cheerio dearios
